According to the National Candle Association,” Every candle should have a cautionary label or tag listing the three key rules for candle fire-safety” (National Candle Association, 2020). These labels are found on our candles base, and include the following:
- Burn within sight
- Keep away from things that can catch fire
- Keep away from children.
We label our candles for fire safety and test our candles to ensure the overall safety of our products for our consumers. Our labels clearly state what the product is along with our company name, physical address, logo and contact information. Our labels for candles are also required to include the type and weight of the wax in ounces and grams.
We produce our products by hand in our home business located at 81 Pembroke Road, Concord NH 03301. This is not a brick and mortar store front, with sales made via e-commerce. During the summertime, and during special marketplace events or farmers markets, we can be found out in the community of New Hampshire offering our handmade goods. Our candles are crafted in mind to provide an enjoyable experience of the senses while keeping your safety and well-being in mind. You will enjoy the crackle burning of our hand poured soy candles and the pleasant aroma that they produce. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH OUR CANDLES ARE SCENTED, THEY MAY NOT PRODUCE A COLD OR HOT THROW AS POWERFUL AS YOU WOULD LIKE, AS OTHERS TYPES OF CANDLES OFTEN CONTAIN HARMFUL CHEMICALS AND HAZARDOUS PROPERTIES. In other words, when you smell our candles, understand they may not produce a more powerful smell before or while it is lit. Because of our approach to a 100%soy candle that is scented with 100% essential oils, we omit the likely hood of harmful ingredients that are found in other mass produced commercial products.
